Dance???, 16 Jan 2006
Call me a cynic, but are there actually any dance songs on this album?? I think i can find about a dozen over the entire three CD's, and whether you can class them as the very best im really not actually sure. The vast majority are just pop songs you can bop a long to at a disco. Good as some of them are they just are not dance. Out of the dance tracks i found there are a few noticable classics. BBE - Seven Days And One Week - Superb chillout dance Baby D - Let Me Be Your Fantasy - An old school anthem Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy, Hey Girl - Anthemic hard house, no more need be said Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone - More pop style but great lyrics And then new house tracks from Eric Prydz, Audio Bullys and Bodyrockers How this album can call itself a dance album, and then the very best without Darude, PPK, Delerium, Faithless, Tiesto, Van Dyk etc i dont know. All dance fans steer well clear of this, only for fans of the mainstream NOW series!
Should be called 'Best of Now Pop'., 06 Dec 2005
Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Toxic, Don't Stop Movin', Murder On The Dancefloor, Addicted To Bass, I Like The Way, You Can Do It, Superstar, Roc Ya Body, Hey Baby, Chain Reaction, We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off, I Wanna Be The Only One, Tubthumping, U Can't Touch This, Moving On Up, Back To Life and Temptation. None of the above are dance tracks. So what are they doing on a compilation that is supposed to be showcasing the very best of dance music? This is clearly a compilation that's aimed at your typical MTV Dance viewer. Expect to see it in your local bargain bin within weeks.
OK, 15 Oct 2005
This Cd bought back a lot of memories for me when i was younger. Although you might not have heard of some of them you will instantly recognise the tune. With classics from Alex Party, Corona, N-Trance, Ian Van Dahl and Snap to modern day classics from Puretone, Goldfrapp, Eric Prydz and the Lovefreekz. Best Track: Gala, Freed From Desire (my own senses purified) Worst Track: Whigfield, Saturday Night (and the air is getting hot) WHY????
best!, 14 Oct 2005
greatest complilation cd out now in the charts! there was only one or two songs that i didn't like and thats good considering how many songs there are, great value for money as well, ur getting 3 cds for the price of one and their good too:) this album is ace cus theres a mixture of cheesy 90s dance to more recent songs. (2nd cd is my favourite cus all of the cheese:)
hmmm..., 11 Oct 2005
I first heard about the album after seeing the advert on tv and liked the mix played. However, I bought the album, and I was somewhat disappointed. OK, so it does have a few really good old school songs like "The Only Way is Up" and "Rhythm of the Night" which I hadn't heard in ages, and the classics from N Trance and such, but then you move from Yazz, Corona and Basement Jaxx to S Club 7 and Sophie Ellis-Bextor! Since when are "Don't Stop Movin" and "Murder on the Dancefloor" dance tunes? Producers have got to stop putting in pop songs to fill the spaces on these compilations. If I want pop and cheese, I'll buy a Clubland or a Now compilation...

This is great party music - not for the hardened dance fan!, 02 Jan 2002
This compilation features some of the great dance tunes from 2001 - who could forget Kylie's catchy number one, or 'Flawless', the superb hit which keeps us dancing all night! This album is a great keepsake of a year of progressive dance music and would be a great gift for a younger listener, a party addict or to keep in the car. Hardened dance-lovers wouldn't go there, unfortunately, as the love of tacky but fun music goes out the window with the more serious connoisseur. If only you knew what you are missing! There are an equal number of serious, hard hitting club tunes on this album to charty house hits. A must for everyone who likes to have fun!

Very good, 25 Sep 2004
its a proper dance album and has a range of good music, personally i think the tracks on disk 2 could be improved, but hey, overall it was worth buying
Not a bad collection, 22 Apr 2004
This is just what you would expect from a Dance album. Disc 1 is very muchfrom the pop scene with brilliant mixes of Justin Timberlake's Rock yourbody and also includes such catchy songs like Boogie Pimps, both songs by2 Play and Jaimeson. The only shocking song is the Cha Cha Slide which ishorrendous! Disc 2 is more from the club scene and very much more like Trance. Thereis a good collection on this though. However the first half of the disc isfar better than the second, it does seem to go a bit downhill after PaulVan Dyk, apart from the Groove Armada track. Nonetheless, a very good dance album for all those clubbers out there!!!
The new "NOW Dance" is great..., 16 Mar 2004
...I just hoped it would have more songs, but, whatever! The album is brilliant, not better than its predecessor, but it's great. Including recent pop/dance hits such as "Red Blooded Woman" by Kylie Minogue or Kelis "Milkshake" this is a great party album for the beginning of 2004! The only disappointing additions are the hip-hop ones, like "Breathe Don't Stop", this song is awful, or "Dude" by Beenie Man, which is OK but doesn't fit with the album's style. My favbourite songs from the album are Justin Timberlake, Boogie Pimps, Angel City feat. Lara McAllen, UD Project, VS, Ultrabeat, LMC vs U2, Motorcycle, Ferry Corsten, Lasgo, Kelly Llorenna, Milk Inc. (the last three remind me a lot to 2002!) and Groove Armada. The great miss on the album is Deepest Blue new hit "Give It Away" is great and I thought they'd put here. Also I'm disappointed because they included "Cha Cha Slide" by MC Jig and not DJ Casper version which became hugely popular everywhere.
Pretty Darn good, 10 Nov 2003
As with most compliation Cd's there is a few junkies thrown in but on the whole fab quality:- Gotta listen out for the re-release of the fantatsic 'your loving arms' by coco ft jet - def a fav coz first time around was in the height of my rave child days....and unlike most re-releases they've not ruined it - if anything its better - tip: turn up the bass! Lots of other great beats such as pretty green eyes (still lovin it) and of course the great new genre 'punk trance' provided by Tomcraft in his 'lonliness' track. Kontakt 'show me a sign' & Paul van Dykes 'nothing but you' provide lovely vocals. I'm not too hot on the club remixs of pop songs but if you are then you'll certainly be happy. It's because of these songs I rated it 3.
Now Dance 2004., 08 Nov 2003
My favourite dance compilation, with greatest club tunes of the year and new previous hits for 2004.The best songs by Ultrabeat,Tomcraft, new trance tunes by Ian Van Dahl and Jurgen Vries, powerful remixes by Justin,Kylie and Wayne Wonder, new version of Amen UK and Billie Ray Martin's cover "Loving Arms",and fantastic pop hits by Liberty X,Stacie Orrico(remix version of hit single "Stuck")and R&B vibe by Jamelia. It's great compilation!!!

The Perfect Dance Compilation (for now...), 21 Oct 2002
The latest collection of Pop-Dance Hits from 2003 includes great variety of smash hits. The first CD is an eclectic mix of Pop-Dance that may not cater for a specific taste but is certainly worth pressing the 'next track' button for the songs you love. But the second CD is certainly my favourite mix, including smash hits from Lasgo and Flip & Fill. A CD worth putting on for a party. Although not perfect in my opinion, this CD is still an near esential buy for all those looking for a party, definately worth buying (look at the price!)
Getting ready for a night out? Put this on and enjoy., 18 Oct 2002
Now Dance 2003 is a typical compilation, dance, trance and disco can all be found here. UK favourites like Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, Oakemfold and N-Trance all make an appearance, but standouts include the smash hit by Milky, Scooter's summer smash hit ramp - the logical song and other great dance hits. I personally find this album filled with too many commercial tracks, but if you are after all filla and no killa then this will be your thing. If you like commercial tramce, dance and filtered disco, you'll be loving this. I must say I was happy to see tracks like Tim Deluxe's ibiza stomper "it just won't do" on here. Other highlights for me were PPK's "reload", DJ Aligator Project Â- Lollipop and Shakedown - At Night. Im my opinion, this will make a good gift for the kids who like these songs when they're on the radio, and is good for an early Saturday night mix while you get ready for a night out.
Good Mix with a few dodgy choices, 16 Oct 2002
Overall, this album contains mostly popular dance hits, and is perfect for listenning to while getting ready to go out, to get you in the mood for a night out. I would have prefered there to be a few less pop re-mixes, but these do not detract from the album too much. Definately worth buying for your collection.
Havin' it Large, 15 Oct 2002
This album is the best way to start the new year of music. With a variety of songs to suit all tastes. It gives a superb mixture of classic Pop, Dance and Indie, which is perfect for an all round music lover like me! Its picked the best songs for gettin you in the mood to party. Usually with compilations the better songs occur on Disk 1 and the less popular songs on Disk 2, but this compilation is different with good songs on both Disks. I think this is by far the best compilation for a good few years. This is one album that you need in your collection for 2003!!

This is one album that you need in your collection for 2003!!
it makes me want to wiggle, 30 May 2003
THIS CD IS ONE OF THE BEST FUN DANCING CD'S I HAVE EVER BOUGHT, WHEN I GO CLUBING I ALWAYS ASK THE DJ TO PLAY A LOT OF THE TRAKS ON IT. IT ATTRACTS A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE BECAUSE KIDS JUST WANT TO BE LIKE THEM. THE CD CASE IS VERY EYE CATCHING AND COLORABLE. IT JUST MAKES ME WANT TO WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE.
The 2003 dance mix continues..., 27 Apr 2003
I found the second part of the Now Dance 2003, not as great as the first part, but brilliant at all! On CD one, we have some pop hits, with "Being Nobody" by Richard X Vs Liberty X and "U Make Me Wanna" by Blue; a bit of hip-hop tunes by the hand of Big Brovaz ("Nu Flow") and some pop mixes (Robbie Williams)... Anyways, the dance highlights are Room 5's No1 hit "Make Luv" (feat. Oliver Cheatham), Kylie's old No8 hit "Come Into My World", Cheeky Girls' No2 hit "The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum)" and Love Inc's No7 anthem "You're A Superstar". I personally think it wasn't necessary to put Las Ketchup with 2002's No1 "The Ketchup Song (Asereje)". On CD 2, we have the a great start with Queen's remixed version of "Flash" (I don't know why this didn't make better than No15 on charts), followed by the excellent "The Opera Song (Brave New World)" by Jurgen Vries featuring the superb vocals of CMC, and then we have more great dance tracks, the 'always present' Atomic Kitten's remix and some repeated songs from the Part I of NOW Dance 2003. The repeated songs are: "The Ketchup Song (Asereje)" by Las Ketchup, as named as Girlzz "Asereje" on the first part; "The Opera Song (Brave New World)", as named as Alphaland "Brave New World (The Opera Song)"; DJ Quicksilver presents Base Unique "Always On My Mind" and Interactive's "Forever Young". This CD is a must have for any dance lover... With the part one, you have the best 2003's dance hits to date!

The Best of the Bunch..., 19 Jan 2005
This double cd from the "NOW" collection of compilation cds is the best collection of dance tunes from 2004. It's not a hardcore/trance compilation, it has popular remixes and dance versions of some fantastic tunes. There are also some lesser known artists and songs but I'm sure you'll have heard them in the pubs and clubs on a night out. Both cd's are filled with excellent tracks which are put in a great order and are guaranteed to get your feet tappin' and get you shaking your thing!!! This is the sort of album to throw on when getting ready for a night out - put it on, turn it up and feel good BEFORE you go through the door. Its also a great album for house parties to get everyone dancing. This is an excellent double cd which is worth every penny - go buy it NOW!!!
